It's been a whole year now that the tank has been up and running as of July 23rd. It's seen two rebuilds and has been quiet a learning experience. I've become a bit addicted to aquariums and have more than a few boxs of filters, heaters, gravel, driftwood, etc. It's been lots of fun and I still enjoy tweaking it. More importantly though, it's a family hobby that both Lana and Marcel enjoy. My next major improvement to the tank will be a homemade light canopy, but that won't happen probably until after Christmas. Plus I got a 35 gallon tank to experiment with thanks to my brother and I recently found a great 20 gallon on the curb! I'm going to try my hand at making a Planted Tank. Yup, a tank dedicated to aquatic plants. Like the canopy though, it will probably wait until after Christmas. So browse around my tank and don't be shy about emailing me with questions or comments.
